  • Deutsch--Die Literatur-Stiftung Brückner-Kühner in Kassel [www.brueckner-kuehner.de] wurde 1984 von dem Schriftsteller-Ehepaar Christine Brückner und Otto Heinrich Kühner gegründet. Seit 1985 vergibt sie den Kasseler Literaturpreis für grotesken Humor. Nach dem Tod der Stifter (1996) erstrecken sich die Aktivitäten nun erweitert auf die Medienkultur des Komischen zwischen Kunst und Wissenschaft: Veranstaltet wird im Zweijahres-Rhythmus und in Kooperation mit der Universität und dem KulturBahnhof Kassel das "Kasseler Komik-Kolloquium", das Wissenschaftler und Künstler zu ausgewählten Fragen komischer Kunst zusammenführt. In Vorbereitung ist - in Kooperation mit der Universität Köln - eine Schriftenreihe zur Kunst des Komischen. Außerdem wird seit knapp drei Jahren in Verbindung mit der Caricatura [www.caricatura.de ], Galerie für komische Kunst, die "Lesereihe Komische Literatur" mit ca. 10 Lesungen pro Jahr veranstaltet. Weitere Arbeitsfelder der Stiftung sind die Präsentation und Förderung avancierter Dichtkunst am Ort der documenta-Stadt sowie die Pflege des Nachlasses der Stifter.
